THIS TOO SHALL PASS.

What we see happening around us at present is utterly pathetic. A huge clash of cultures. The extremists in the Arab/Islamic world are so over-reacting to what Benedict 16^th said that it has even led to the shooting in the back of an innocent 65 year old nun.

It is considered cowardice to shoot a man in the back, so how do we grade a nun?

Hans Kung, a veteran theologian of the Catholic Church once said,

”We will have no peace in the world until we have peace among the world’s religions.”

Can anyone reading this article ever imagine such a situation coming about? I would suggest that 99.9% of people would respond with a resounding NO!

Islam (at least some major factions of it) want world domination under their banner, but that means that unless you convert to Islam you’ll be dead; clearly then that will not be peace amongst religions as there will only be one religion. Who has the power to bring about such a feat for Islam? No mullah, no Caliph, no Ayatollah, will ever have that kind of power. One would have to imagine all other beliefs being denounced. Imagine, atheism, Budism,Shintoism,Western Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, all the Protestant groups, etc., etc. all bowing the knee to the banner of the ancient Moon-god of Arabia. Not possible.

No human being has the right or the power to establish his own government and dominate all humanity. There would be uproar in nation after nation should any man make such a claim.

The new World War 3 will not go away no matter what any administration of America does; terrorism is here to stay---pessimistic but true.

For anyone who believes the scriptures we know that there is the promise of the return of God to this earth to “restore all things”. In the book of Acts we are told that the Christ or Messiah will return to this earth and bring about the ‘restoration of all things…’

This will be a government with supernatural powers and authority. In an Old Testament prophecy concerning Christ we have the promise of the two appearances of God on earth; firstly as a child---this has been fulfilled. Jesus came as a child and fulfilled the role of the sacrifice for the sins of all mankind; secondly he will return and fulfill part two which is to establish His kingdom---and we are told that the zeal of the Lord of Hosts will perform this. Isaiah 9:6-7.

In this totally and utterly confused world of such diverse religions only the Bible tells us what is going to happen in the future.

Thankfully we can rely upon the sure word of God.
